Haus am See in Absberg

A wonderful place on the Brombachsee! We were allowed to use the location twice for wedding events (a small wedding fair and our wedding photography workshop). The location on the lake is fantastic and the adjoining room / house is perfect for weddings or other celebrations!

A wonderful place to take a break from everyday life. The small and very stylish beer garden invites you to linger with relaxed music and a chilled-out atmosphere. Everything is very well organized and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Yesterday we went to the beer garden for a delicious Aperol Spritz at sunset. The culinary offer is also very good and a bit finer than in a "normal" beer garden. There is something for everyone and the price-performance ratio is right. We had Obatzter with fresh bread and a Cesar salad - lovingly prepared and very tasty. The house on the lake is also perfect for celebrations of all kinds. Chantal, the owner works professionally and her team is great. I can therefore not understand the negative reviews at all. Certainly something can go wrong here and there or the soap can run out ... It struck me, however, that the people who complain here are often not guests at all, but only use the paramedics and dispose of garbage. Unfortunately, that was also clearly visible yesterday and I find that really inappropriate. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back again and again. Whether a visit to the beer garden or a great party - both at Brombachsee and Hahnenkammsee are possible and we always feel very comfortable and welcome. Hello! This is what happens in the "Haus am See" The menu says bratwurst roll. I would like one of these. What does the waitress say: "Ham what not" Next question: Can i pay by card? Service: "Nah". The End Conclusion: Here service is written in small letters, although the ambience promises something different. TOO BAD

Unfortunately, we didn't look at the reviews until afterwards. The food was really no longer good, the fries were still the best. The salad with chicken for 10.90 € is a really high price. If the quality would have been accordingly, okay! The chicken was definitely not fresh or not stored properly. The currywurst have rarely seen or eaten anything like this. Looked like it had been fried two or three times. My wife and I had stomach pains even the next day. Which is really a shame, the location is really nice, but you can ruin the business out of yourself.

The bad food I've ever eaten. You shouldn't call something like that food special garbage. Such shops should be closed!

Have never really had such bad food. You should actually ask for your money back; the bread roll was stale (briefly put on the grill so it wouldn't attract attention, but then it was also black) not to mention the sausage and the fries only tasted like old fat. What a shame, we were looking forward to a refreshment in the beach chair, but then left the food and drove on!

The food is very tasty and, above all, a pleasant change from the fast food that is often offered at such restaurants. The prices are ok and the order goes really quickly.

Very, very unfortunate ... we made extra reservations because we wanted to end a great day there, but despite the "Open" sign, nobody was present in the entire beer garden and we (8 people) had to look for another restaurant ..

I am only referring to the beer garden here Due to Corona, the tables are positioned with sufficient distance! Nice view of a part of the beach on the small Brombachsee! Had schnitzel, bratwurst and a pizza! Bratwurst strongly seasoned, I thought it was great! French fries would have been good with less salt (complain about the good taste level)! Pizza was served on a wooden board! Thin dough, sufficient topping, good choice! Spalter beer is not my taste now! So why the star deduction Because of Corona, you have to pay attention to hygiene! While we were eating, some guests left! It would be nice if one of the employees briefly provided a disinfectant spray and cleaned the table and chairs! I think that as a staff you can take that much time!

Nice service and the Aperol Spritz was delicious.

The queue is infinitely long. After my order I had to queue up again to pick up my food. During this time I also witnessed a verbal attack on a young man when he pointed out the lack of soap and towels in the toilet house. It is not the first time that customers are treated like this. I was in the beer garden with friends for a while, we also noticed that the soap was not available here. Why such a theater?

After repeated requests to refill the soap, the soap was still not replenished after 3 hours, neither in the men's toilet nor in the women's toilet. When I pointed this out to the service staff again, I was accused of stealing the soap myself. I was told I would totally overestimate the situation and call the police now. When I insisted on calling the police, they tried to explain why the soap had not been refilled. In times of Corona something like that is just under all sow !!!! Never again!!!

The two girls from the waitress are completely overwhelmed and act extremely unprofessionally. Currywurst and salad took 40 minutes. The salad shown in the photo cost 8 €: D in most restaurants, even side salads are larger ... Without the great location, this shop would have been gone a long time ago;).

Pizza ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately food does not come at the same time. No bratwurst rolls or similar to take away / on hand, as 15 minutes waiting time. Design for a beach kiosk quite nice.

I cannot recommend Haus am See, tables unfortunately not clean, staff sees no need for action! Guests have to clean their tables themselves if they want it to be clean! Eat warm to cold! Very rude staff! For us it was the last visit here! e not

Unfortunately, this beer garden is reminiscent of a snack bar in the outdoor pool. The website is really nicely designed, but this absolutely doesn't fit the ambience on site. We were very disappointed and did not take our reservation. It has no real flair of a modern, Bavarian "restaurant". - the food cannot be judged-

So a camping Gastro Location must be: great view, all relaxed and in a good mood and delicious food such as the pizza. I felt right at home here, because the decorative attention to detail underlines the ambience right on the lake. As it looks like you can also celebrate here.
